Dear Scott (or any of you guys at PeredePierre),
Seeing as MoslBuddJewChristHinDao isn't exactly easy to find, I'm wondering if Dover Street Market is actually that same scent rebottled, or, if Scott meant that it came pretty close, as many of Mark Buxton's scents are very similar?

Discontinued...Reformulated. Ugh. Death of a happy scent.

Mine is Fendi, which, as I can still remember from it's original formulation in the '80's was a thick amber-rose construction with a lovely, light woody drydown.

Now the stuff you can buy at the drugstore can be used to wash windows. So sad!

The closest perfume I could note might be Giorgio for Men: I wore it rather grudgingly for an old girlfriend, put the bottle away when it was over, and have never found it. That was, what - '90?

Fortunately, the reformulated version is not far from the mark, so I haven't lost out on that one.

My secret to not having these sorts of regrets: BUY BLIND. :)

I was happy to read about CdG - I was exploring their line the other day and unfortunately think some of them might be headed my way (Hinoki definitely). :)
While there, taking into account all the warnings on the blogs, I snatched the last bottle of Vanilia they had. Yeey for me! :)
