Reformulations/IFRA 43rd Amendment

By Dane
The institute determined to ruin the face of perfumery, the IFRA, will soon be implementing its newest and most dire amendment to date. Each amendment adds new restrictions and/or changes the amount permitted for specific ingredients deemed to be health hazards. Among the newest changes will be jasmine and ylang absolutes, several citrus oils and oakmoss.

Due to this event (travesty?), several of the reviews in our archive will no longer be relevant. All fragrances reviewed in the past that we feel have noticeable changes will receive an update in due time. If you happen to notice a change yourself, please feel free to comment on that fragrance's post with your comments.

So as to not receive any nasty hate mail from the fragrance houses, the posts that receive amendments will keep their respective posting dates, and will therefor not appear as new posts.

If any of your favourites are in danger, now is the time to stock up. Keep in mind that just because the latest amendment has yet to come into effect, does not infer that the product has not already been changed (see the "new" collection of Dior classics).
