Heliotrope and Honey. Done.

That's not really fair. L'Eau d'Hiver also features a spectacularly beautiful spray of citrus in the opening that lasts a few moments, and there is some discreet musk hanging around in the drydown. And possibly only Jean-Claude Ellena could build a fragrance around heliotrope and honey and not have it come out cloying.

Even so, it is a bit sweet for my taste.

And now I really am done.

Year: 2003
Perfumer: Jean-Claude Ellena
Notes: Bergamot, Angelica, Iris, Hawthorn, Jasmine, Honey, Carnation, Heliotrope, Caramel and Musk.
