I'd classify Oyedo in the conceptual, yet unwearable category of perfume. While fascinating, I'm not sure I could live with it on my skin for an entire day.
Like many Diptyque scents, Oyedo is fairly linear. The opening is a bit brighter than the rest, but overall it maintains a consistency throughout. The only words I can think of to describe it would be tangy, acidic, and strangely mentholated. Others have mentioned the similarities with Concord Grapes, which is achieved through the addition of Methyl Anthranilate, a synthetic isolated from grapes and grape-skins. The association is understandable, but I still find the scent to be predominantly a citrus (although an unusual one). As with many Diptyque scents, I think I'd prefer it as a room scent (a candle is available).
If you're looking for a different type of citrus, Oyedo might be for you. I've yet to figure out what type of person would be drawn to this scent though...I have no doubt that he'd be an interesting fellow.
