L'Eau Guerriere (Parfumerie Generale)

By Dane

In the never ending list of incense fragrances comes Parfumerie Generale's latest release, L'Eau Guerriere (Warrior Water). If I were the type to rant on verbosely, I'd say that it may have been inspired by the musky, smoky odour of a noble warrior returning form the war field. I'm not that person though, so I'll just say it smells like musk, incense, and wood.

PG have an extensive line of scents. Some are good, some are better than good - L'Eau Guerriere might be my favourite. It has a beautiful musk note that blends perfectly with the soft, smoky olibanum. Very simple, very straightforward. Just what I like.

Side note - I hate reading marketing BS, and even more so when it makes its way into the advertised list of notes. What the hell is "Sky Aldehyd" (their spelling, not mine)? What a waste of words.

Year:2008
Perfumer: Pierre Guillaume
Notes: Cinchona Bark, Sky Aldehyd, Olibanum, Aloe Wood, Musk
