Hypnôse Homme (Lancôme)

By Dane
From its tacky bottle to the unoriginal ads, Hypnôse was a failure from the get-go. What opens with an attractive, albeit boring topnote, soon fades into a loud, coarse tunafish sandwich & cheap synthetic amber accord. Migraine in a bottle, care of Lancôme. A shameful speedbump in the brilliant career of Maurice Roucel.

This must be what Clive Owen uses to keep his wife from touching him at night.

Year: 2007
Perfumer: Maurice Roucel
Notes: Black Cardamom, Lavender, Amber, Musk
