Angéliques Sous La Pluie (Frederic Malle)

by Mark
Angéliques Sous La Pluie goes on with a burst of white pepper on a background of juniper berries and pretty angelica. The pepper disappears within minutes, leaving a clean white musk. This fragrance has the now-trademark JC Ellena sheer quality; not only is it very understated, but given many people's anosmia (inability to smell) to musk, you may forget you are wearing any fragrance at all.

And so it goes, quietly, slightly musky. The drydown features a delicate whiff of cedar.

This is nice, unspectacular, and about as inoffensive as a fragrance can be. Safe for elevators, airplanes and hot days.

Year: 2000
Perfumer: Jean-Claude Ellena
