Pi (Givenchy)

By Dane
Wait...I think...I think I smelled something just then...oh wait, its gone. I could have sworn that when this came out, it was something to compete with Mugler's A*Men??? A sweet, syrupy citrus-vanilla. I must be mistaken.

Almost imperceptible & amber-ish swamp water concoction designed by the brilliant Alberto Morillas. Seriously, the same guy that did Mugler Cologne, YSL's M7, Kenzo Flower, and CK One (hardly flukes).

Pi degrades Givenchy's good name (err...) in the fragrance industry. Why bother? I mean, there are "skin scents" and then there are wastes of money. A pack of SweetN'Low has more substance than this. Its only saving grace is its utter inoffensiveness.

Clearly for guys who hate cologne but who's wives insist they wear it. Now that Givenchy has re-released the likes of Insense and Vetiver, why hasn't anyone put Pi out of its misery?

ps - I'm not posting a pic of the bottle...consider it a favour.

Year: 1999
Perfumer: Alberto Morillas
Notes: Tangerine, Infinium (what?), Ironwood, Benzoin Crystals
