I'm not sure what Nostalgia is nostalgic for exactly? Santa Maria Novella's typical scents often seem overly traditional and dated to me. Something you'd reach for to recollect on days spent with your grandfather. Of all their offerings, this is the last one I'd title Nostalgia.
Something very intriguing has been created with Nostalgia. A fully modern composition with an off-putting opening of gasoline and tar. From there things take a less interesting approach and somewhat emulate Bvlgari's Black with its sweet vanilla & rubber accord. There are worse fragrances to be inspired by, so it's not necessarily an insult. Much more wearable than one would assume upon first sniff and definitely worth trying.
I'm not sure where they were going with the bottle. It looks like something the teller would stamp your bad cheque with at the bank.
