I will always wonder what I would have thought of Dzing! had I not first read about its history in the circus. I am not a fan of circuses, not least because of the clowns.
Luckily, there are no clowns in Dzing! What there are, are warm animals, their straw, their dung, their saddles, and the aroma of cotton candy mixed in. Some people smell cardboard; this happened to me on one wearing, but then it went back to reading as leather, vanillic hay, and a faint whiff of poop.
The drydown features the leather becoming even warmer, accompanied by balsam and tonka. It is as luxurious as relaxing on a haystack after a day in the saddle can be.
I find it to be long-lasting, but quite a few people say that it has no longevity on them. It is advisable to try this one before you buy.
Dzing! is an unusual composition, shocking to some when they first smell it. Some have taken it as an olfactory joke. I found it immediately comfortable and strangely familiar. Perhaps I was a clown in a past life.

I also love this one but have given up on wearing it since I seem to be in that minority of people for whom it disappears after about 10 minutes, never to return. I smell cardboard, paste, fresh air and vanilla. It's like a trip back to kindergarden with craft time right after recess. It's strange and lovely. Wish it lasted longer for me.
