This enfant is terrible (and I mean that in the best possible way). Etat's naming always amused me, yet they seem to really hit the nail on the head. The perfumes are allegedly named before the perfumers compose them, so its fascinating to think that they can create something that effortlessly matches it's title.
DE opens with a sweet, candied note...apparently orange blossom with marshmallow. Soon a chocolatey coffee note emerges, but it differs from the typical coffee accord. Much lighter and sweeter, almost like an overpriced flavoured latte. Although it sounds very fluffy and foody, a woody musk in the background hints at something much darker and mysterious. This side soon pushes its way to the front with notes of leather and tobacco. The change creeps out of nowhere and is quite striking.
If this perfume were in fact a child, he's be cute and innocent, all the while hiding the numbers etched in his forehead. One of my favourites from the line, and surprisingly wearable.
