Bvlgari Pour Homme Soir (Bvlgari)

By Dane

Bvlgari seems to make fragrances for those who don't typically wear fragrance. One would assume that the evening version of Pour Homme would add a heavier hand of spices or the like, but you won't find that here.

Essentially what you get is Pour Homme with fewer distinct musk notes, and the addition of a sweet, woody amber backdrop. Other notes include Papyrus, Bergamot and Darjeeling Tea. As with the original, the notes are very blended and nothing jumps out. Perfectly likeable...not quite as "soir" as I would have hoped, but enjoyable nevertheless.

I admire Bvlgari for the consistency in their line of men's scents. They have an elegant and understated feel about them. Not something you can say for every company, including other notable jewellers.
